We're not saying it's not possible Lynch may return to the big screen post-Corona virus, but it's not the first time he's been involved in television. The late 80s saw two seasons of Twin Peaks - the latter ultimately unsatisfying due to studio demands that some mysteries be answered - and he returned to finish (?) the series in 2017. But otherwise, Lynch has been rather hostile toward streaming services.

In a video post about streaming, Lynch ranted about how absurd it was to experience a cinema - and we can assume he means television as well, at least his television - through a "f***ing cell phone."

True to his form, however, he released What Did Jack Do? on Netflix earlier this year. Though he hasn't commented on just what the 20-minute short film is meant to be - an announcement that he is moving to Netflix or just a one-off from scraps left over. What we can be sure of is that it's an amazing 20 minutes of Lynch interrogating a talking monkey at a train station coffee shop.

If there's not more, we can't say we're not disappointed, but it was fun while it laste
