8. Everyone In Washington Drives A Chevrolet

Yeah, yeah, we know movies need product placement to get some much needed cash for their mammoth budgets. That allows us to just about accept Spider-Man webbing a Dr Pepper and Budweiser being the only beer on offer in every bar in movies ever, despite the fact that it tastes like diet beer - but that doesn€™t mean we have to like it. Just before Nick Fury gets on the wrong side of the police, there€™s a shot of the cruiser and his 4x4 side by side, lingering just long enough so everyone in the cinema clocks they€™re both Chevrolet. Fair enough, but it doesn€™t stop there: pretty much every car we see (and considering there€™s two extended fight sequences set in Washington D.C.'s streets, there€™s quite a few) is a Chevrolet. Civilian or military, H.Y.D.R.A. or S.H.I.E.L.D., everyone can agree on their car company of choice. The one reason this doesn€™t place higher is that it allowed for this brilliant remake of the trailer (actually directed by the Russos) with kids:
