This is the DC Cinematic Universe, where the daughter of Zeus exists as Wonder Woman, where an alien Superman has destroyed a key city. The tone of DC€™s Universe will probably be darker than the Marvel universe, with some sources reporting a complete and total ban on jokes, but this is the first time where the tone of the film will complement a true interpretation of Bob Kane€™s popular invention. Affleck will be immersed with comic book lore in this series of films, and he will be the only man to play Batman in this type of production. No other Batman actor has existed in a shared universe, so in many ways Affleck€™s performance will be incomparable with the other Batman actors. The fact that Affleck€™s Batman is significantly different to other versions of the caped crusader is important, as it means that he will be rejuvenating a character which has already met iconic levels of popularity. Ben Affleck is going to give us a new version of Batman, and the version we are getting looks extremely exciting as it is so unique.
