4. It Makes Minimal Use Of CGI

X-Men: Apocalypse was a fascinating example of why people have begun to use the term "superhero fatigue" when describing the problem with these big comic book tentpole movies.

There's too much going on, not enough attention devoted to interesting characters and plot, and an overdose on big-scale CGI often makes audiences feel more exhausted and detached from the action than wowed by it.

Logan, conversely, relies on the human factor and practical stunt-work more than just about any superhero movie in recent memory. There's no over-the-top green-screen battle to see things out, but a visceral fight to the death that's so much more compelling due to the characters, the stakes and the emotion of it all, something Apocalypse and many of the series' other entries have unfortunately lacked.
