10 Reasons The Marvel Cinematic Universe's Best Days Are Behind It

Remember the good ol' days?

Let's start with a positive, shall we? There's no denying the fact that, for the most part, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has brought us a lot of joy. Marvel's deft dedication to crafting an interconnecting cinematic world is unheard of elsewhere within the realms of the motion picture business; the care and attention that has gone into the continuity associated with such a feat cannot be rebuked. And given the unpredictable nature of the movie business, it's to imagine - in all honesty - how it could have gone any better. Perfect? Nope. Admirable? Hell, yes. And yet, despite all its successes (and arguably its best film ever in Guardians of the Galaxy), the Marvel Cinematic Universe has begun to show its age. And with age, of course, there are inherently going to be issues (just ask your grandparents: it's hard being old, you know). That's not to say that the MCU won't grant us a bunch of worthwhile movies in the future - simply that, when you study the MCU system up close, it's plain to see that there are aspects that require immediate attention. Aspects that signal the MCU's best days might be over. Join us as we take a look at 10 such signs. Will Marvel find a way to prevent these issues from casting a dark cloud over the fun, or is the whole thing destined to come crashing down when it all gets a little bit too much?
