8. Spoofs
Airplane started it, Scary Movie popularized it. When Scary Movie came out, we all thought the Wayan brothers were onto something special here. They were, but that rollercoaster ride has long been flying off the rails. Have you ever watched the 41-year-old Virgin who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It? I did, and what a mistake that was. My original thought was how can you make a comedy spoof on comedies? Well you cant. The spoof movies get progressively worst as you go down the list, but the aptly named Vampires Suck, showed the creative engine is running pretty low. Scary movie 5 is coming out soon and is set to star Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan. Yay?
