Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, no title in the history of the MCU opens more possibilities for the future of Marvel than this one. We were previously introduced to the Dark Dimension and the possibility of branches in space time leading to alternate realities but the introduction of concrete multiverses opens up a whole new can of worms.

The prospect of the multiverse(s) brings forth a slew of new characters and possibilities, the most concerning of which are beings whose power dwarves all known characters past and present. How could The Avengers even consider standing toe to toe with The Living Tribunal or more dauntingly The One Above All.

More excitingly, will we see alternate versions of our heroes, past and present? Time will only tell if we see an emo, dancing Peter Parker strutting his stuff once again on the streets of New York, although with Sam Raimi rumoured to be directing perhaps it's only a matter of time.
