Hardy is no stranger to onscreen espionage having played a vital part of a field agent and spy recruiter in the acclaimed adaptation of John Le Carre's Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. So he's certainly not against accepting scripts with some cloak and dagger globetrotting action in.

But given the diversity in Hardy's CV so far there's always the chance that he'd want to stay away from a subgenre after tackling it. Here's hoping not!
