6. John Carter Slashes, Not Smashes
This was almost Number One on the list, but I had to move it down. None of the jokes in John Carter, nor all of the amazing moments of the Marvel Cinematic Universe combined, nor any moment in any movie ever made in the history of the world got the same gleeful squeals in the theater as when Hulk Bamm-Bamm smashed Loki in The Avengers. A lot of things make the Hulk great, and a good smash helps carry his characters awesomeness home. So lets consider our priorities here, and what this moment really tells us. John Carter needs to rely less on his brain in general and more on Bamm-Bamm. No heart-wrenching emotional climax during Warhoons to progress and define the story. No cute Woolas. No evocation of hopelessness on Earth or desperation of John and Dejah. Just Bamm-Bamm smash. Dont even need a reason for Hulk controlling himself. Just get to Bamm-Bamm smash. Still. Even a Bamm-Bamm smash cant save a movie without
