4. Spider-Mans Apparent Ease With His Identity
Excuse me for saying it but the whole notion of superheroes trying to protect their secret identities has been getting a little tiresome. It is a reason that drew me to "Iron Man"...before "Iron Man 2" made me regret that decision, however it is nice to see the fact that Peter Parker in this film seems willing to embrace who he is, and why wouldnt he? Hes fricking Spider-Man. If I myself got super powers which swayed me into saving peoples lives not only would I not wear a mask, I would hand out fliers, calling cards and employ a big neon sign with the slogan I am *enter clever superhero name here*. Its clear to see that Peter Parker in this film is both proud of being Spider-Man and not afraid to use his identity to help others, as we see in the new trailer where he helps a small child escape a firey inferno by saying Im just a normal guy...Whilst also intrinsically saying Im just a normal guy...Whos Spider-Man bitch.
