5. Doctor Fate's Suit & Helmet - Black Adam

Proving the MCU isn't the only superhero game in town to pull off convincing CGI costumes, Black Adam also went this route for the get-up belonging to hero Doctor Fate (Pierce Brosnan).

As Brosnan confirmed himself, any time he is shown in the suit he actually wore a mo-cap leotard, just like Anson Mount in Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness.

Despite Black Adam's oft-ropey CGI, the Doctor Fate suit looks pretty close to flawless, so the production clearly spent their money wisely in one area at least.

In addition to the suit itself, Doctor Fate's helmet was also CGI in many shots. Due to the complexity of photographing a highly reflective object in an environment that's going to be severely altered in post-production, it often made more sense for the helmet to simply be digital.

The only shots where the helmet is real are when Brosnan is holding it and the shot is otherwise largely devoid of CGI embellishments.
