10 Recent DC Comics Moments That Need To Be In The Upcoming Movies

10. The Joker Loses His Face

The New 52 made headlines early on when the first issue of the relaunched Detective Comics ended with The Joker's face nailed to a wall. Where had he gone? Who had cut it off? It would later be revealed that it was The Joker himself, and he actually stole it back and strapped it his own face the next time he met and tormented Batman. It's pretty dark stuff, but something which you can imagine working perfectly on film. Jared Leto is playing The Joker in the DC Cinematic Universe, making his debut in Suicide Squad next year. How cool would it be to end that movie with the reveal that he's escaped from captivity, leaving behind only his face? It would be a shocker, that's for sure. Of course, a Joker running around with his torn off face strapped to his head might be too dark even for a Batman movie. If Warner Bros. shy away from recreating this scene then, it would be smart of them to at least take inspiration from Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's magnificent Death Of The Family storyline in a future solo Batman movie.
