Heading to the small screen here, and man, has Don Mancini's Chucky TV series been an absolute blast across its two seasons so far.

Truth be told, Chucky is likely the very best product served up by the Child's Play IP in its 35-year history. The very nature of episodic television obviously means that Mancini has more time to craft a compelling, chilling story, and he has absolutely made the most of that in the 16 episodes the show has delivered by this point.

Of course, one of the key components of Chucky is Fiona Dourif on phenomenal form as Nica Pierce. First introduced in 2013's Curse of Chucky, Nica had to battle everyone's favourite Good Guy Doll through that film, its Cult of Chucky follow-up, and now in the Chucky TV series.

Unfortunately, Cult saw poor Nica get possessed by Chucky/Charles Lee Ray, and the TV show finds a Nica who has to share her body with the deranged serial killer. As a result of this, Nica likewise finds herself in a temperamental relationship with Charles' long-time on-off lover Tiffany...

In a shocking reveal in the season one finale, with Chucky and Tiff on the rocks - y'know, because he'd threatened to kill her - the audience finds that Tiffany has amputated Nica's arms and legs. The logic here, is this would physically restrict Chucky as his spirit resides in Nica's body.
