2. Lady Gaga (Patrizia Reggiani) - House Of Gucci
Though it may not have captured audiences' attentions in quite the way Ridley Scott would've initially hoped, there's no questioning the fact that his leading lady brought her everything to the part whilst shooting on House of Gucci.
Alongside keeping up her thick Italian accent for the role of Patrizia Reggiani, Lady Gaga also found herself taking the part home with her for a year and a half, even feeling extreme guilt at one point when driving past the site where her character's ex-husband was shot and murdered by a hitman Patrizia had hired.
Going further, Gaga would note to British Vogue, "I had some psychological difficulty at one point towards the end of filming,” later revealing to Variety, "I had a psychiatric nurse with me towards the end of filming. I sort of felt like I had to. I felt that it was safer for me.”
Far from just glorifying her intense and at times unhealthy obsession with the role, though, Gaga hopes that her struggles with letting go of Patrizia and strength to seek help can be a shining light to others who are in need of help, too.
