2. It Ends On A Cliffhanger Where Superman "Dies"

The Rumour: When it was confirmed that Doomsday would be appearing in the film, many fans began to speculate that the film could play out the supervillain's most iconic moment, where he kills Superman (well, temporarily anyway). More to the point, some suspect that the film may end on a cliffhanger where Superman is killed, leading directly into next year's Justice League. How Likely Is It?: 2/10. It's an interesting idea but also has the potential to be incredibly messy, and more to the point, the Dawn of Justice title doesn't really fit if Superman is dead at the end of the movie. The biggest problem with it is that audiences are still forming their bond with Superman: we're only two films deep into the DCEU, so killing him so soon would be majorly jumping the gun. Maybe it would work down the line, but now? No chance.
