10 Ridiculous MCU Rumours We Hope Aren't True

1. Pepper Potts & Jane Foster Will Be Back (Avengers: Infinity War)

The Rumour: The 4Chan leak also suggests that both Pepper Potts and Jane Foster will be returning for Infinity War in cameo form.

Why It Shouldn't Happen: Pepper was rather neatly written out of the MCU in Civil War after her relationship with Tony broke down, so it would seem like a weird, unnecessary reversal to just bring her back all of a sudden. As for Jane Foster, her romance with Thor has been near-universally reviled, and it's clearly just a paycheck role for Natalie Portman.

Plus, Thor's rumoured to hook up with Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) in Thor: Ragnarok, so Jane seems even less relevant now.

How Likely Is It?: Pepper is absolutely the more probable of the two, but she's still unlikely. Infinity War has so many characters to juggle as it is, so these two can be easily cut out of the equation from the up. 2/10
