Paul Verhoeven's RoboCop features no shortage of weaponry, but the Cobra Assault Cannon is without a doubt the biggest and baddest. Developed by Omni Consumer Products for military use but handed out to Clarence Boddicker and his gang in their quest to kill Peter Weller's title character, the weapon truly is state of the art bang bang. Capable of destroying vehicles and buildings with a single round, the Cobra Assault Cannon is also fitted with an over-sized scope that nobody ever seems to use. The weapon fares better in the hands of the movie's heroes than villains, as it comes in very handy during the climatic steel mill showdown and makes quick work of an ED-209.
