4. Captain Spaulding- The Devil's Rejects
The patriarch of the murderous Firefly family is introduced in House of 1000 Corpses but his role in things is left rather ambiguous until the end. Spaulding really comes into his own though in the sequel- The Devil's Rejects. He goes on the run after the cops catch wind of the family's less than acceptable pass times. He is nothing short of brutal in his quest to meet up with his daughter, going as far as delivering a swift headbutt to a woman who wouldn't give up her car- giving her son in the passenger seat a good few years of counseling in the process. While Spaulding was scary- he was also one of them villains that you ended up rooting for in the long run. He comes across as a nice, family man running a roadside gas station but I dare you to get on his bad side.
