10 Sci-Fi Movie Mysteries That Can Never Be Solved

2008's found-footage monster movie Cloverfield proved to be a surprise hit. However, the film itself barely gave us a glimpse of what subsequently became known as "the cloverfield monster", so we were left with tons of questions about this destructive entity.

Two sequels have since followed, 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) which had only a tangential connection to the original, and The Cloverfield Paradox (2018), however neither has really made much of an effort to answer the many questions that the first one left us with.

The biggest head-scratcher is really how these three films tie together. There are inconsistencies across them in terms of how, when, and why the monster attacks, as well as differences in its physical appearance.

We're still pretty baffled on what connects these three films (if there is even a connection at all!) and unless we get another installment, we might be left never knowing!
