10 Sci-Fi Movies That Almost Had Way Better Endings

Narratively, movies go through a number of changes throughout the span of production - and nowhere as much, perhaps, as in their endings. As movie-goers, we've always been fascinated by the thought that a motion picture might have ended in a completely different way; that the filmmakers involved with said movie very nearly cemented the fates of the characters in an entirely other way. Movies endings are changed or swapped out for a number of reasons, of course - be it because the studio are worried that things are too dark and audiences might go away feeling alienated (and would be less likely to recommend the film), or because it's not deemed to be interesting enough. At other times, nobody knows how to end the film.
