10 Seriously Secret Pixar Movie Easter Eggs You Never Noticed

5. Rex - WALL-E

The opening act of Pixar's seminal, environmentally-themed WALL-E introduces us to a little robot called... well, WALL-E, who - as the last working robot on Earth - spends his days clearing up the planet, despite the fact that humans have abandoned it to live in off-world colonies. Despite the fact that he's a robot, WALL-E has a personality or sorts, and one of his favourite past-times is collecting things. Things like Toy Story characters.

Yes: in one brief shot during the scenes set in WALL-E's cluttered (but well-organised) home, you can glimpsed Rex - the neurotic dinosaur voiced by Wallace Shawn - concealed on a shelf and poised between two bowling pins. The scene is generally quite dark, so it's an easy Easter egg to miss, but you can clearly see him in the picture above, which we've enhanced somewhat for your viewing pleasure.
