1. Disturbia (2007)
Remember I said that there was one film I didn't like on this list? Well here it is. D.J Caruso's (I Am Number 4) rip-off of Rear Window, which sees a teen (Shia LeBeouf) placed under house arrest, who becomes convinced that his neighbour is a killer. Whilst the idea of the voyeur being placed under house arrest adds a new dynamic to the Rear Window tale, Caruso's feature lacks the authentic suspense and thrills that a film like this should have. Instead the film centres around lazy teen gags, implausible action and a grating lead performance from LeBeouf. Just buy a copy of Hitchcock's Rear Window or even the Christopher Reeve TV version.
