This is a pretty shocking theory, but one that absolutely holds an air of the believable about it. After all, what better way to shake things up in a new cinematic universe than to kill off the President of the United States? And that is exactly what is rumoured to happen in Batman V Superman - at least, according to an extra who revealed the following tidbit:
"The second scene I was involved in was situated in a half-stadium style set surrounded by tall green screen walls. Henry Cavill was on set dressed as Clark Kent. This scene was a parade scene to take place in Washington D.C. The parade, we were told, was the funeral for the President of the United States..."
This is certainly an interesting approach, given that the President rarely winds up being killed in films like these. It makes sense, though, given that the the death of the President is something that could throw the entire planet into disarray - especially if Batman and/or Superman are involved in the incident, which is absolutely something to be expected. Interestingly, there's another shocking theory attached to this one - one that purports that Amanda Waller, the "semi-antagonist" who puts the Suicide Squad together in the upcoming film of the same name, will wind up being a President in a few movies' time. Putting somebody as dangerous as Waller in charge of the US? Now that's interesting... What do you make of these theories? Do they hold some truth or are they downright insane? Do you think any of them would improve the film? Let us know in the comments.
