10 Silver Linings To Godawful Films

Whether by accident or out of some perverse, morbid curiosity, we've all seen our share of Godawful movies over the years, irredeemably terrible films that simply inspire a strange mixture of anger, confusion and exasperation. But what about those super-bad movies which still manage to charm us or hold our attention in spite of their general tawdriness because of one outstanding actor, scene or moment that was undeniably great? Whether it's a sharp technical package, an awesome set-piece in an otherwise braindead movie, or some eye-catching nudity that perked us up, these 10 awful movies weren't quite as bad as they could have been due to one (usually very brief) moment of excellence. Without exception, these 10 movies have been widely trounced by both audiences and critics, though they're perhaps not quite as bad as some like to suggest because of that diamond in the rough, that one element that, whether intentionally or not, managed to entertain, amaze and temporarily distract us from the undeniable awfulness surrounding it.
