6. The Woman - Inside
Mmkay. I just saw this movie for the first time after it had been recommended as some solid new Horror for the Halloween season. If you've seen it, you know I don't need to say much. If you haven't, I honestly only need sum it up with the following equation: Pregnant Lady + Crazy Lady who wants her baby + Scissors = Exactly. The film isn't some majestic piece of groundbreaking cinema. The story is virtually non-existent. But I can't remember the last time I gasped, covered my mouth, and winced so many times. If you haven't seen it, and have a strong stomach for gore, it's a must see. Beatrice Dalle plays the crazy lady to such a tee that people probably assume that's just how she is in real life. If she and I exchanged glances on the street, I would call the police.
