10 Small Details That Could Ruin Upcoming Comic Book Movies
5. The Lack Of An Actual Hero - The Sinister Six
It's rare to see a movie that lacks a "protagonist" - and though we're not entirely sure as to how the upcoming Sinister Six movie will work, as it stands it looks as if it's going to be somewhat superhero-free. The movie is set to document the rise of the Spider-Man-hating Sinister Six, of course, a team comprised of all the classic villains from the Spider-Man mythos - but the small matter of a lacking hero is a curious one. After all, will this movie be able to keep us invested and entertained for two hours if there's nobody for our villains to go up against? And are we going to be able to stand watching said villains going about their business if they're all bad and we can't sympathise? The Sinister Six is sure to make for an interesting experience, of course... but the minor detail of having no hero or protagonist in play is a bit unnerving.
