10 Smartest Decisions Made By Scream Characters
1. Jill Frames Trevor & Charlie - Scream 4
Jill is surely the smartest and best-prepared of all the Ghostface killers to date, given that she got closer than anyone else to fully executing her plan and actually getting away with it.
Jealous of the shadow cast by her aunt Sidney, Jill wanted to effectively "become" Sidney by going through her own manufactured victimisation, setting in motion her Ghostface slayings which she planned to conclude with Sidney's death.
Better yet, Jill was going to frame her dead ex-boyfriend Trevor (Nico Tortorella) for the killings, while she and her accomplice Charlie (Rory Culkin) would be left as the only two survivors.
But Jill never actually intended to share the spotlight with Charlie, ultimately killing him and preparing to frame him as Trevor's accomplice.
It's a pretty damn foolproof plan - nobody would suspect the sweet, innocent cousin of Sidney Prescott, especially after she runs herself into a wall and throws herself through a glass coffee table to sell the damage done to her.
Jill's only mistake was in not confirming Sidney's death after stabbing her, as Sidney ultimately survives her injuries and goes on to kill Jill at the hospital. She got so damn close to winning, though.
