A Punisher-like killer who believes those who abuse their authority should suffer, the Sin-Eater is a dark and violent character that is perfect for Venom's world - especially if they bring the mini-series Venom: Sinner Takes All to the screen.
Eddie Brock published articles claiming that the Sin-Eater was a man named Emil Gregg. Unfortunately, Spider-Man captured the real Sin-Eater, a detective named Stanley Carter, and Peter Parker revealed his identity to the Bugle, which caused Brock to lose credibility as a journalist.
Tom Hardy already teased problems with his work in New York and Sony should pick up with a Sin-Eater story-line, specifically letting Venom chase down a copy-cat Sin-Eater named Michael G. Engelschwert.
