10 Spider-Man Villains Sony Should Keep (& 10 They Should Lend To The MCU)

15. KEEP: Man-Wolf

John Jonah Jameson III, son of the infamous Daily Bugle publisher, is a respected astronaut who has quite a history in the Spider-Man mythos, though his on-screen portrayal has always left more to be desired.

After a small role as Mary Jane’s love fiancé, he had an even smaller role in Venom. Even though JJ popped up at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home, it remains to be seen just how much screen time they’ll let J.K. Simmons fill with propaganda.

If his son could enter the MCU, it’s safe to say his presence would be small.

After discovering the Godstone on the Moon, the gem turned Jameson into the ravenous Man-Wolf. With ties to Spider-Man and Morbius, Man-Wolf is surprisingly a very logical villain to introduce into Sony’s world.

Stuntman Chris O’Hara played John Jameson in Venom, but he’s either performed stunts or coordinated them in seven other Marvel-produced films. Give him the chance to let his physicality take center stage and he’s a fitting secondary villain for a Morbius sequel.
