Coming from a galaxy far, far away to a cinematic universe close to home.

Moon Knight is coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Oscar Isaac is bringing him to life.

Isaac’s casting is a huge win for the MCU. With his time in the Star Wars galaxy over, for now, it’s the perfect time for him to jump universes and make an impact in the MCU's newest arc. Fans will also be delighted that he’s getting a second chance to strut his talents in a Marvel property after his eponymous role in X-Men: Apocalypse left more than a little to be desired.

He’s not the only Star Wars actor that’s been in the Marvel universe either. Samuel L. Jackson, Natalie Portman, Benicio Del Toro, Lupita Nyong’o, Ben Mendelsohn, Mads Mikkelsen, and Andy Serkis, to name a few, are in the MCU.

Others like Richard E. Grant, Tom Hardy, Dominic West, Rose Byrne, Felicity Jones, Ray Park, and Riz Ahmed have appeared in both Star Wars and non-MCU Marvel properties.

With plenty of heavy hitters yet to grace a Marvel property, here’s hoping that these big names from the Star Wars galaxy follow Oscar Isaac in crossing over to the MCU.

10. Mark Hamill

Let’s get this out of the way right now - who wouldn't want to see Mark Hamill in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

Mark Hamill will go down as one of the all-time greats of fandom. Even though his role as Luke Skywalker made him a household name, there are droves of fans who have fallen in love with Hamill's performance in other works.

He's been the Joker, Skeletor, Chucky, The Trickster, and countless other geeky characters on and off the screen. If you were born between 1980 and 2000, Mark Hamill was definitely weaved into your favorite childhood shows, sometimes even unknowingly.

He deserves a shot in the MCU and it would be all but perfect if he were to play a version of the Hobgoblin, who he famously voiced in the nineties Spider-Man cartoon.
