10 Star Wars Characters We Can't Wait To See In Live-Action

2. Doctor Aphra

Benedict Cumberbatch Thrawn
Marvel Comics

Doctor Aphra is an archaeologist who has become a popular character in the comics universe, but has yet to make her way to film or TV. She would be a strong asset to the live action universe as someone who walks in shades of grey - not good, but not bad.

She has worked for Vader, been considered a friend by Luke Skywalker, and went to infiltrate Crimson Dawn after learning they had Han Solo. She's also worked with Black Krrsantan who has just made his debut In live-action.

Aphra is a kickass, loveable rogue and would be so much fun to see. As someone who puts themselves first and doesn't really care for others, any situation involving Aphra can escalate quickly.

Despite Aphra putting herself first, in the comics she has had a range of relationships, one of the most surprising being with Magna Tolvan, an Imperial who later redeemed herself and joined the Rebels. Another important relationship has been with Sana Starros, who remains a close friend. Aphra would definitely bring in some important LGBTQ+ representation to the live action world.

If you're not already sold, did I mention she gets an evil protocol droid too? What more could we want?
