10 Star Wars Characters You Didn't Realise Probably Died Horrible Deaths

Initially airing on Cartoon Network from 2008, Star Wars: The Clone Wars included some of the most horrific moments in the larger franchise.

One of the most entertaining arcs the show has to offer, is the Citadel three-parter in the third season, where Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and a squad of Clone Troopers storm the Separatist Citadel on Lola Sayu. The mission at hand is to rescue Republic prisoners, including Jedi Master Evan Piell and Admiral Tarkin, both of whom possessed the coordinates of a strategically important hyperspace lane, the Nexus Route.

With the crew managing to get down to the planet undetected, the team stealthily made their way towards the Citadel. When the death of a clone signalled the team's presence, Separatist forces powered on the security doors, by which point, the team had rescued Piell, Tarkin and other Republic personnel from their cells.

These doors posed a major threat to the team, considering if they got caught in them whilst they were closing, you would be critically injured. Unfortunately for one trooper, he gets stuck in between the doors, and as the doors shut, an audible slice can be heard, with the clone letting out a pained screech as everything below his torso is separated from his body.
