10 Star Wars Moments Actors Didn't Know Were Coming

Season 3 of The Mandalorian dropped a couple of cameos that absolutely nobody expected. Seriously, who had Jack Black and Lizzo sharing the screen with Mando and Bo Katan on their Star Wars bingo card?

Back in season one, the big cameo was Jason Sudeikis, though his scout trooper helmet made it much harder to tell it was him. Sat atop a ridge, Sudeikis and Adam Pally had stolen Grogu from Kuiil, and were waiting for word on what to do next.

As part of the scene, Sudeikis punched the being then known as Baby Yoda. He punched him incredibly hard to shut him up in a scene that, at the time, the actor didn't realise would be such a big deal. Who knew just what a phenomenon Baby Yoda would become?

In the gap between filming the scene and it actually airing, Sudeikis completely forgot that he'd even done it. He was only made aware when his name was trending on Twitter upon the release of the first season's finale.

It was his partner at the time, Olivia Wilde, who noticed this trend, as the scene quickly became one of the many iconic moments in the show.
