10 Star Wars Moments IMPOSSIBLE To Watch The Same After This

2. A Taped Up Stormtrooper - A New Hope

The life of a stormtrooper can be a pretty tough one at the best of times.

And when in the thick of trying to capture the galaxy's favourite princess, a few bumps and scrapes are to be expected along the way. However, far from allowing a bit of armour damage to keep one particularly driven white-armoured Imperial unit down, it appears a Stormtrooper seen early on in A New Hope had an easily missable solution.

If you look closely at one of the troops stood alongside Leia as she's captured by her eventually revealed father Darth Vader, you'll spot that this terrible shot is actually keeping their gear together with a simple piece of white gaffer tape.

In reality, this was likely just a cheeky quick fix the folks behind the first-ever Star Wars picture were hoping would slip through the cracks in the finished product. And it did for a few decades there.

But HD and 4K revisits to the galaxy far, far away have ensured that even the smallest visual imperfections can now be easily spotted with just a push of the pause button. These glimpses into the reality behind what went into crafting this 1977 classic only add to the charm of Lucas' Original Trilogy-starter, though.
