10 Star Wars Spin-Offs Gareth Edwards Needs To Direct

1. Boba Fett: Bounty Hunter

Possibly the coolest character in the Star Wars universe it isn't surprising that this infamous bounty hunter is the number one choice for a spin off movie. The mystery of character may have been diluted by his adolescent appearance in Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones. He might have been unceremoniously dumped into the Great Pit of Carkoon to become the latest meal of Sarlacc in Return Of The Jedi. But none of that has dampened our appetite for more Boba Fett. Before Lucasfilm was bought by Disney, George Lucas's live action Star Wars series was rumoured to feature the seedy underworld of the galaxy, with Boba Fett and his fellow bounty hunters at the forefront. As awesome as that might have been, a spin off film might be the better option. There would be no need to soften his personality in the name of on-going character development. Add in Bossk, Dengar and IG-88 too. They've had some exposure in books and games since they first appeared alongside Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back. But seeing them in action alongside Boba Fett would give them the cinematic exposure they so richly deserved. Cold, ruthless and skilled; a spin off movie featuring Boba Fett, showing how he came to be the very best in his game, could be the coolest sci-fi movie since... well, Guardians Of The Galaxy... Which spin off movie would you like Gareth Edwards to direct? Rancor might certainly be a left field choice to be sure, but more Darth Vader, Boba Fett or Yoda would be very welcome indeed. Alternatively, are there other characters you want to see developed? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below...
