10 Star Wars: The Force Awakens Rumours That Ended Up Being Bullsh*t

5. Han And Chewie's Star Destroyer

It was hinted early on in the movie's development that Han Solo and Chewbacca would no longer be in possession of the Millennium Falcon, so that's one rumour which was correct. However, the explanation for why the beloved duo no longer had their iconic spacecraft wasn't one that the blogs reporting on this got right, and it's kind of a shame because it would have been pretty damn cool to see in The Force Awakens! Han and Chewie's main form of transportation in this movie was said to be a classic Imperial Star Destroyer which they had managed to capture in an adventure set after the events of Return Of The Jedi. That obviously wasn't the case, and while they were in possession of one of The First Order's transportations, that didn't quite have the same impact as a Star Destroyer would have. Whether someone got their facts wrong or the decision to make the change was made during production is unknown; as it is, the only Imperial ships we see in this movie are littered on the surface of Jakku.
