Alfonso CuarĂ³n's masterful sci-fi thriller Children of Men follows civil servant Theo Faron (Clive Owen), who in a dystopia defined by human infertility, attempts to protect pregnant refugee Kee (Clare-Hope Ashitey).

Theo and Kee end up on the run from the militant immigrant-rights group known as the Fishes, who wish to use Kee and her baby as a political bargaining tool.

Theo manages to get Kee to a hideout belonging to his old friend Jasper (Michael Caine), but soon enough the Fishes arrive and they're forced to move on, while Jasper lays down his life to stall the Fishes.

Many viewers have questioned how the Fishes found out about Jasper's hideout, though this is subtly confirmed in one of the film's opening scenes when we see Theo taking the train.

Seated behind him is a man (Phaldut Sharma) who appears in numerous subsequent scenes as a member of the Fishes, even being present during Jasper's execution.

We can then assume that the Fishes were tailing and monitoring Theo extensively prior to kidnapping him, ensuring they knew exactly where he would go with Kee. Brilliant.

And for our #1 entry, know that MAJOR SPOILERS will follow for No Time to Die if you haven't seen it yet...
