10 Terrible CGI Moments In Huge Comic Book Movies

8. Incubus' Big Reveal (Suicide Squad)

Green Lantern Ryan Reynolds
Warner Bros

When Incubus was revealed as Suicide Squad's big bad, he looked like he had arrived straight off the set of Brendan Fraiser's Mummy series. Even by ancient demigod standards, he wasn't believable.

The most disappointing aspect of this is that the film was released in 2016, not 2002 when digital Peter Parkers scampered across rooftops and The Rock was transformed into a ridiculous man-scorpion hybrid. Plus Warner Bros, a studio will no shortage of brass tacks, was behind the movie.

Incubus looked like a last-minute addition to Suicide Squad, a mess of special effects the movie's creative team were ordered to whip up on an impossible deadline, but this cannot have been the case since he appeared briefly in some of the trailer footage.

Perhaps Warner blew most of the budget on other characters or scenes, or maybe the studio spent too much of its DC funds on Batman v Superman earlier that year.
