4. Sean Astin and Jonathan Ke Quan- Encino Man
Mikey and Data reunite in this, as Quan cameos in this Astin-lead film. Encino Man tells the story of two high school outcasts who find a frozen caveman in their backyard and try and turn him into a hip teenager to gain popularity. Hilarity ensues.... theoretically. Encino Man is not a universally hated movie. Some people absolutely loved it and it now has a feeling of nostalgia for them, but just as many have no such warm sentiments towards it.
The plot is fairly standard as are most of the jokes. Encino man plays off a series of largely overdone jokes, plot and cheap gags that make the movie feel ultimately stale.
