10 Terrible Movies By Great Directors

1. The 15:17 To Paris - Clint Eastwood

The Counsellor
Warner Bros.

In August of 2015, an attack occurred onboard a train heading from Brussels to Paris, but a few brave young men were able to stop it.

Clint Eastwood, acclaimed director of films like Pale Rider, Unforgiven, Mystic River, and Gran Torino, made the story into a movie. For some reason though, he decided to cast the real life heroes as themselves!

Things went exactly as expected; their performances are uncomfortably bad. It's almost worth pitying them for being subjected to such an embarrassing experience when, in truth, they should be celebrated.

To be fair, the train scene itself is intense and well crafted, but everything leading up to it and following it is awkward, uninteresting, and poorly executed. It's commendable that Eastwood wanted to honor the heroes for the work they did, but the way he chose to do so was less than effective.
