10. The Blob Eats The Wasp

It's inevitable that, at some point in the next decade, Marvel will have to make some major changes to their Cinematic Universe as actors move on and they're forced to choose whether to recast them James Bond style or reboot. If it's the latter option, here's hoping that they don't take any cues from Jeph Loeb's Ultimatum, as the divisive writer single-handedly destroyed that universe in swift fashion in order to set up a brand new status quo. One of the most shocking and controversial moments featured The Blob eating the drowned corpse of The Wasp (a character who will likely be played by Evangeline Lilly after Hope Van Dyne is introduced in Ant-Man). Simply put, it was just a disgusting way to bring one of the best characters in the Ultimate Universe to an end. Thankfully, Marvel Studios don't hold the rights to this X-Men villain, so the chances of it happening are slim.
