10 Terrifying Horror Villains The MCU Won't Use

6. Carrion

Skinless Man
Marvel Comics

What makes Carrion so chilling a villain can be summed up in one sentence: take your average movie about a plague that threatens human existence, and then make that plague sentient.

That is Carrion in a nutshell. The guy has been around for a while, under different names and incarnations, but the threat of his presence remains the same. With his power to rot living flesh, Carrion has brought humanity to the brink of extinction multiple times, just barely being defeated by Spider-Man each time.

Sounds like a great villain for a movie, right? Well it would, if his powers weren't so...visceral. Like we said, he ROTS living flesh, and the comics are very keen to show you just how brutal his abilities are. And while that's a cool power, it's basically a guaranteed R-rating for any movie that wants to feature him and actually do him justice.

While it would definitely be cool to see a classic villain like Carrion make an appearance, we do not begrudge Marvel for deciding to just not bother.
