10 Things About 2000s Movies That Everyone Misses Today

4. Beyoncé In Movies

Starting off life as the second most important member of Destiny's Child (love you, Kelly), Beyoncé Knowles was unleashed as a solo act in the 2000s and the world was never the same again.

Her countless memorable and important songs are now part of the backbone of modern pop culture and her contributions to the music business continue to grow and evolve to this very day.

But remember when she also did films?

Her debut theatrical appearance was as Foxxy Cleopatra, the sidekick of hapless spy Austin Powers in his third outing Goldmember. Then came The Pink Panther, Dreamgirls, and the thriller Obsessed.

And then, nothing.

With the exception of two voice roles, Beyoncé hasn't acted in a film since 2009. Granted, she's been busy, but she was on a great run at one point! Goldmember is a classic!

Wouldn't it be brilliant if Queen B made a return to the silver screen? And not just as an animated talking lion? She has so much star power and has proven in recent years that she's looking to diversify her portfolio, so now is certainly the time for a comeback.
