10 Things You Didn't Know About Ghostbusters

30 years of bustin' makes me feel good.

It€™s no secret that Ghostbusters is a 1980€™s comedy classic €“ a film that scared an entire generation while making us cry with laughter at the same time. Starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson, the Ghostbusters soon became comedy icons€ and spawned an entire franchise of cartoons, comic strips and the coolest toys you've ever seen. It may come as a surprise that Ghostbusters has just celebrated its 30th anniversary. That€™s a whole 30 years of the iconic theme tune, the instantly recognisable proton packs and the irreplaceable Ecto-1. And 30 years of trying not to think of Stay-Puft marshmallow men. Are you troubled by strange noises in the middle of the night? Do you experience feelings of dread in your basement or attic? Have you, or any of your family, seen a spook, spectre or ghost? Well€ you should probably see someone about that. Of course, with a special edition Blu-ray to commemorate this milestone, it€™s time to take a look back at the world€™s greatest supernatural elimination experts. But this 1984 classic wasn't always destined to be a smash hit, and while bustin€™ makes us feel good, it seems things could have been a lot different.
