6. Neeson Almost Turned Down Another Film Because It Required A Phone Call Scene
Inevitably there was major response to the scene in the first movie that sees Mills talk to the kidnappers who have taken his daughter. Its now one of the most memed movie moments of the past decade, and even more inevitably the actor faces regular requests to revive it. It got so much that Neeson actually balked at the idea of doing another f**king phone call movie when he read the script for A Walk Among The Tombstones. Such was the stigma of being so specifically typecast, he almost pulled out when a similar scene appeared:
"When I first read Scott's script, I hesitated. Because I thought, 'Here we go, here's another f**king telephone call, talking to the bad guys.' So there was this huge question mark before taking it on.
