Fans know the love that Molly has for her kids and for Harry, but nothing shows it's depth and power more than finding out her biggest fear. In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry sees first hand the force of Molly's love.

Harry walks into Molly sobbing in the corner staring at Ron's dead body. Then the body turns into Bill's. Then Fred & George's. Then Percy's. And then Harry's! This moment is so hauntingly touching. Harry, who never felt the love of a mother, who sometimes felt like an intruder in the Weasley household, is now being shown that Molly's biggest fear is not just the death of her children, but of Harry, too.

On top of that, this scene paves the way for Molly's overprotective nature throughout the rest of the book and the series. Molly, who lost both of her brothers in the First Wizarding War, doesn't hold back her feelings about her children joining this fight.

She butts heads with the other members of the Order, namely Sirius, about how involved the Weasley's and Harry should be and she tries to get Harry to stop Dumbledore's Army when she finds out about it. She's over the top, but the audience knows that she's being driven by the crippling fear of losing her children, and it makes her one of the most relatable characters in the series.
