10 Things You Need To Know About Jurassic World

9. ...And He's Written It With Some Guy Named Derek Connelly

Collin Trevorrow isn't just directing Jurassic Park, he's also writing it, which means that whatever concept this guy came up with in order to sway the studio must be something akin to gold. Should it fail horribly, though, he's not going to be taking the blame all on his own - Trevorrow has written the script with his writing partner, Derek Connolly, who also co-wrote the script for Safety Not Guaranteed. Connolly hasn't much experience elsewhere, but he was named as one of Variety's Ten Screenwriters To Watch by Variety back in 2012, which is an accolade that doesn't come easy. He's also been rumoured to be working on a film over at Pixar, and we all know what that means: this guy must be good. So although we could fret about his relative inexperience, we're going to just be excited instead.
