2. This Is Not The Max Rockatansky You Know

Charlize Theron once referred to Tom Hardy's Max Rockatansky as a completely different character who simply happened to share a name with the Mel Gibson's Max of old, but take that with a pinch of salt, as she may only have been referring to how Hardy is going about the portrayal, and not talking about a literally different person. That said, this is not the Max we know. He seems a little less confident than he did in The Road Warrior. At some point, however, expect Max to, well, go mad, and rise up against his tormentors.
