10 Things Star Wars Fans Don't Want To Accept About The Movies

1. Boba Fett? Honestly, He Wasn't That Great

Last Friday's episode of The Mandalorian ending with Temuera Morrison returning as Boba Fett was awesome, but many fans seem to forget that the bounty hunter's contributions to the original trilogy were very little. He stood around in a couple of scenes looking cool, and then went out like a chump in the opening act of Return of the Jedi.

Fett's legend as a classic Star Wars character has been created by tie-in material that's no longer canon, toys, and cartoons. If that armour wasn't so damn badass, he's be just another background player, but to talk about Fett like he's one of the best parts of the franchise...it feels a tad over the top.

Given the way both he and his father, Jango, were defeated, it doesn't appear as if even George Lucas had much interest in exploring the Fett family, and it's honestly not difficult to see why.

It's definitely going to be interesting seeing what Disney+ does with the character, but if he wasn't part of a series as great as The Mandalorian, it would be hard to care. Boba Fett makes for a cool toy, but beyond that...he's just rocking an eye-catching set of armour.
