10 Things The Guardians Of The Galaxy Sequel Mustn't Do
8. Fail To Utilise Nova
The Nova Corps and their home planet of Xandar were key characters and a key location in Guardians of the Galaxy, with the likes Glenn Close, John C. Reilly and Peter Serafinowicz playing senior members of the galactic policing organisation. As we knew that those guys were going to be appearing for a long time before the release of the movie, many of us expected there to at least be a reference to - or even a brief appearance from - the most prominent member of the Nova Corps from the comic books - Richard Rider, otherwise known simply as Nova. That wasn't to be, however, and neither the anticipated Nathan Fillion or anyone else portrayed the powerful superhero - but he simply must appear in the sequel. We never truly saw what the Nova Corps could do and Rider would surely be their biggest gun, so he would be more than capable of showing us. Hopefully, the villainous threat in number two will be even more powerful than Ronan and, as a result, Nova's help will be a necessity.
